Etiquette
November 28, 2008Here is some information to help you plan your visit to Frankfort, IN to view the show!
Show begins Dec. 6th and will run until Jan. 1st
Radio Station 107.3FM 'Live with Fred and Murray'
Show Guidelines:
While you are enjoying our display, please be RESPECTFUL of our neighbors who
have been so kind to support this venture and endure the increased traffic
during show times.
Tune your car
radio to 107.3FM and keep the volume to a minimum. My neighbors really don't
want to hear how much power your stereo system has.
You may park your car
in front of the homes on either side of us and can get out of your vehicle to
see the show.
Please don't park in,
turn around in, or block our neighbor's driveway.
Please turn off your
headlights so you don't blind the other vehicles watching the show.
Keep track of all the
pedestrians that will be walking around our house and parents please keep the
kids in the designated areas.
The streets get
pretty crowded so be prepared for delays! There will be wait times, so please be
patient and courteous to others when visiting.
Please avoid honking
horns (whether to show appreciation, or other reasons). If you'd like to leave
us feedback we'd love to hear from you at
lightsonboone@sbcglobal.net.
Car horns can really get on everyone's nerves!
And please, no
littering.
We are sorry to have to come up with a list of "don'ts" -- after all, we want you to enjoy the display and hope it helps brighten your Christmas spirit. Following these guidelines, will optimize EVERYONE'S viewing experience.
The Very Fine Print:
I am sorry but hugging Santa or Frosty is a big no no!!!
Our display requires many electrical extension cords to be laid across our yard and the yard is covered with Lawn Lights. These items pose an electrical and trip hazard.
These hazards are present while the display is operating as well as when it is not. Please be careful and observe the signs posted. Please do not enter the yard, because believe me, Santa will put you on his 'naughty list', you won't get any presents.
Our display is under 24 Hour Video Surveillance. Please be respectful and do not attempt to remove any of the display items or lights. Trespassers will be reported to local law enforcement.
